Weekend Warrior Summary: They did a lot of work on this trail. I am newer to riding in Florida but I had a lot of fun riding this trail. Since I started the trail has been marked so you know where your going. I always see people on the trail and everyone seems to like it. This is a technical trail with a lot of shade. If you haven't been to this trail in a while check it out.

Cross Country Rider Summary: This trail is mostly flat with alot of fallen logs to ride over. The trail mostly in the shade. The trail can get kinda sandy when it's dry.The trail has some tight twisty sections and there are many fallen trees to ride over, also log piles to climb over. It's about 3.8 miles long. Recommended Route: Park at freedom park on Pinehurst Rd,and you can get to trail by riding to south end of park, just east of soccer fields, and enter the trail in the woods at the south end of the lake.Trail runs just west of where all the palm trees are planted.

Weekend Warrior Summary: The trail involves quite a bit of stump jumping and making one's way through tight turns with trees on both sides. In the summer, the course really gets sandy, although efforts have been made to mulch the sandiest portions. There is one ramp that you shouldn't try unless you know what you are doing. Nothing steep or high and hairy. I consider myself a newbie, & I found the course difficult, but have recently started feeling comfortable. I live 10 minutes from the course, I can go through the course in about 45 minutes, and feel good about getting my required aerobic exercise. Getting over the stumps is very difficult at 1st, but with some tips you will get the hang of it. Get some momentum, get up off the saddle & have fun! Recommended Route: Trail is well marked with A, B & X sections. I ride mostly B with some X sections if I am following an experienced rider. Other recommended trails in the same area: Jonathan Dickinson, Quiet Waters, Dyer Park.

Cross Country Rider Summary: Not a bad trail especially since it's local. Great for a good workout. By the second time I rode it, I got into it. Definitely a work in progress with loads of potential. Other recommended trails in the same area: One hour south I recommend Oleta...that park is AWESOME! One hour north I recommend Fort Pierce. Of course JD is great too!

Weekend Warrior Summary: I haven't been riding for awhile but just recenty went to Pinehurst. It was good to see a lot of people riding this trail and hope that it won't become another condo site in So Fla. The trail is short but technical with a mix of sugarsand, log hills, tight turns, and a few jumps. The roots make it a good workout, they are spaced close together and are spiderwebbed through tight turns. Recommended Route: There is a park (cant remember the name) nest to where the trail is. The trail is just south of the soccer fields and you can enter them off pinehurst road. I reccomend parking at okeeheelee park and then riding to enterance - the security seems better at okeeheelee. Other recommended trails in the same area: Dyer park / quiet waters
