Weekend Warrior Summary: Sorry-- Couldn't barely get back into any thing because of the sand and quad use. I will never go back to this site. Had so much more fun yesterday across I-75 at Ladyslipper. I'm new to the game but can't give this one a good review at all. Don't waist you time.

Cross Country Rider Summary: No one uses this part of the trail for Mt. biking anymore. This original trail review is well over 6 y/o. Too much ATV and horse activity down at the environmental park!!!
Go to ladyslipper rd parking area and follow the creek-side trail to the south east. Much better trails this way Recommended Route: I-75 to Sumter rd. go south for bout 1/2 mile go right on ladyslipper and follow that around to parking under trees on left. See more current rev. under "Ladyslipper parking area" below this review.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Crappy with a capital Crappy. No offense, but any progress through this end of the trail systems is illogical. Unmarked, and even if it were marked, impossible to ride because the soil is so poor. Being able to stay upright in sand does not make one a technical master! To wit, next time I will park at Ladyslipper and hopefully there will be well worn trail. Recommended Route: Left on Tropicare and then right on Sumter, and look for Ladyslipper... from there I cannot help you. Other recommended trails in the same area: go to SWFL Intl. and get a el-cheapo ticket to CT and hit Cockaponset St. Forest, Penwood St. Forest, or go past the Undersea Warfare Center and go to Arcadia in RI. Just don't go to the place I went...

Cross Country Rider Summary: Great local trails. Very technical with several man made stunts. About 10 total miles. Check out the northporttrails.org website for up to date info on the trail, planned rides, work days etc. Site has some pics and trail map. Trails are not marked as of yet but really can't get lost since the trails run from I75 towards 41 along the creek. Haven't seen any ATVs in about a year. Recommended Route: Follow directions etc off of northporttrails.org. Both for parking and trail map Other recommended trails in the same area: None within 1 1/2hr. Carter or Alafia.
