Summary:
Good local trail. We drove about 2hours to get here because we are worn out on the local trails. I think that they did great with what they had to work with. The trail is very well maintained and seems to have alot of care and upkeep. The trail is not "hard" by anymeans but there are several good challenges including a short area with some coquina rocks that are down right tough. Climbs climbs climbs. A friend said "I know its impossible because we start/finish at the same place but I sware we climb more then we decend around this place" There are several climbs that require good lines and hard cranking. This trail is compareable to Ft Pierce but offers a bit more cardio and is about 1.5 miles longer at just over 6.5 miles. Great seneary changes as you make your way to, it seems like the landscape is always changing.

Recommended Route:
There is only one way to go!

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Snow Hill is not "to" far away.

Summary:
This trail is worth the drive from the Space Coast. The designers did a great job, and I like how they used natural materials everywhere they could. The sugar sand can get a little rough -- tough on the climbs and sketchy on some of the downhills.

As for the climbs, there are tons of them and many of them are quite challenging. A few are downright impossible because of the sugar sand. There's no problem getting winded here.

There are some pretty challenging rock gardens which force you to pick lines, as well as some good sized coquina boulders if you are feeling brave, which makes it one of the few places on the east coast where you can actually ride on real rock.

I'd love to see more gravel laid down, but overall it's a great trail and I will be back! It would also be sweet for them to expand the very last section of trail into a big playground. That way you can kill time at the end if you don't have enough time/energy to do another full lap.

Recommended Route:
Start and the "Enter" sign and ride until you get back where you started.

Summary:
To be honest, I am very out of shape and have not ridden in a long time. That said, I did not finish the trail because I just couldn't. What I did ride was awesome, I did love it. A lot of the uphills were very sandy and they should fix that, but that is my only complaint. Someday I will finish that trail. I weigh 230 now and way out of shape and wanting to get down under 200 hopefully at least 190 is ideal. Then I will be able to ride the trail no problem.

Recommended Route:
Start on the south side

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Nothing yet

Ridden Trail:
Once a year

Summary:
Rode here on Sat. for the 1st time in over a year. Props to the trailbuilders, you have really done a lot to re-route and change what was a pretty good trail already. Climbs were shorter and better designed than the last time. Conditions weren't bad. A little sand & mud but overall fast & a great workout. New tech. sections with skinny lines on rolling boulders were sweet. Half dozen small jumps were well placed and flowy. The lines of sticks in the muddy sections did the trick, but are needed in a few more areas. The sand really could be fixed if they will let you put hard pack materials or wood tracks in the ground. Aside from that I think I'll come back about every couple of months. Fun trail. Wish it was a little closer.

Recommended Route:
Still start out to the south end of the parking lot. But it flows about the same in either direction.

Summary:
I really enjoyed this trail! A whole lot of fun and a serious workout at the same time. I`m an intermediate and I made almost every element. A trail to stay focused on, my bud ate it on a slightly tricky downhill in a moment of inattention...nothing but a little blood and major bruising. Don`t get the wrong impression it IS FUN and most jumps and challenges have options if you`re not feeling it. The only reason I didn`t give it a 5 is because I feel the trail could have better flow. Sections were totally underwater when we were there but only because Flagler Co. had crazy rain the week before. If you ride anywhere from JAX to Orlando go give this place a try...it Rocks!

Recommended Route:
Parking lot Start back to Parking lot Finish. Trail itself is pretty well marked

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Nothing really close but Ft.Clinch, Hanna Park, Spruce Creek, Snowhill are`nt too far away
