Cross Country Rider Summary: Pretty boring, the multi-use trail is torn up by horses. No hills or anything. If you want more technical stuff, the hiking trail is more interesting... Recommended Route: It's a loop around the pond Other recommended trails in the same area: Middle Run, Fair Hill (MD)

, from Bear, DE Summary: This isn't as bad a place to ride as some of the reviews indicate. It's excellent for beginners to get a feel for a new bike. You also don't need to drop big bucks on a bike to ride here. Suspension of any kind really isn't necessary. There's pretty much just one 10 mile loop so it's damn near impossible to get lost. I would not go out of my way to ride here but if you're local it beats riding on the street. It's obvious once you've ridden here that if you're looking to jump over logs and ride hills this is defintely not where you want to be. You'll definitely be bored. But if your just looking for a quick off road workout it's not bad. There is alot of mud but if you're afraid to get dirty then you should be riding a street bike. Recommended Route: There is really only one Other recommended trails in the same area: Fair Hill, MD (very cool place, many levels of trails)

Ridden Trail: Please Select

, from Bear, DE Summary: Because this trail goes around a pond, it is usually muddy. (There are little water run-offs everywhere feeding the pond.) Also, because of the run off, there are a lot of exposed roots; these can be pretty bumpy. These bumps are the only thing that makes this trail a "mountain bike" trail, otherwise you could pretty much push a baby stroller on it! Easy ride for beginners. Other recommended trails in the same area: Middle Run (off of Red Mill Rd, north of Rt. 2 outside of Newark), Fair Hill (Maryland State Park off of Rt. 273 west of Newark Delaware), Brandywine Creek State Park (off of Rt 92, north of Rt. 82), Iron Hill (off of Old Baltimore Pike on Whitaker Road, west of Rt. 896).
