Cross Country Rider Summary: Brandywine Creek and Woodlawn trails kick ass. Back in the mid-90's the lower parking lot was packed after work. We rode 7 days a week. I have ridden Utah, Colorado, California, and always dream of riding Brandywine. Is the G2 still ridable? Done it. Hardest hill I ever rode. I have moved to Richmond VA but still ride once a year. Recommended Route: Trail system behind JCC - follow to the right and below TGIF - follow down towards the bottom and take ridge trail to higher ground. Follow loop and exit onto roller coaster hill. Pick up field trail to river and follow route towards dairy. Can't beat it baby. Other recommended trails in the same area: Fair Hill, Middlerun, Jim Thorpe

Cross Country Rider Summary: Fun! Did about 18 miles here today. Good amount of climbing, but more of the gradual grinding type than steep, nasty hills. Plenty of technical logs and rocks in some places, smooth, fast singletrack in others. Overall a great ride. Recommended Route: I started from behind the TGI Fridays off Route 202, after that I was just following the leader. No clue really. Other recommended trails in the same area: Middle Run, Fair Hill (MD)

Weekend Warrior Summary: well this trail doestn start right were the Branywine Starts, but its eventually gets too the state park. Recommended Route: If you know of the road 202, follow it untill you see a T.G.I Fridays, John Harveds, Red LObster and Lone Star. Turn into the resturants. Go to the upper back left corner of the parking lot, behind the resturants. There will be a trail header with a couple signs. There is only one start. Go down it and you will come upon a hill. Take a right and go down for a short whiles untill you see another trail to your right. Take this all the way and you will end up in a little field with a road infront of you, make a 180 degree turn in about 10 feet off the trail and you will se another trail. This is a wonderful single track. Follow that and you will come up to another field , jsut follow the same trail your on and dont take any other routs. After a little whiles after that you will come upon the Green WAY trail in the Brandywine state park, right on the bridge on the left side of the park, where rocky run ends up.

Weekend Warrior Summary: This is the best set of trails in the area with a riverside sleeper and rocky technical descents a few major league vistas thrown in. You can ride wide open and easy flats, but the trails coming up out of the valey are 300-400 vertical and major logs, rocks and roots. Several good water crossings, deer and some awesome descents really mix it up. Some guys get stuck onthe mixed use trails near the horse farms which are mulched and Stinky#^$%$&$ but get a local or a map and get on the rocky hill near the JCC and you can have some wicked techincal challenges. Overall a great mix of trails for every level.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Overall, it is a decent group of trails, but you have to explore the off-shoots to find something more technical. Several steady uphills and long rocky downhill sections. Just beware for the clean freaks, the trails don't dry out very quickly after it rains, so if you are afraid of a lot of mud ( and I mean like 1/2" thick coats of mud) stay away from the River trails. Recommended Route: From Thompson Rd, make a left into parking lot just before the bridge over the brandywine river. Follow the main gravel walk/bike path to the first foot bridge and make a right just over the bridge onto the singletrack. Then...enjoy the mud!
