Hall Medow Dam

The climbs are steep, but totally ridable. I would assume that motocross or four-wheelers cut all the trails. Once in the woods, it is all singletrack. There are fire roads that meander about, but too much trash to be enjoyable. The trails kriss-cross throughout the reservoir. I would classify the trails as intermediate++ because of the climbs and some of the rocky sections -- but that very subjective.

Summary:
I had a great time in this trail. In an area that seems to be dominated by "Private Property: Do Not Enter" signs, this place seemed like a nice change. I have ridden Nepaug and would say that Nepaug probably is better, but not by much. Lots and lots of singletrack in every direction. It is a great place to get lost for a few hours. I rode it at night and the trails are long, narrow and deep with a bright light. I will be riding it much more and exploring the rest of the area.
