Branford White Trail

1 of 5
This trail goes around Branford, connecting to Westwoods, the branford trails by the quarry and connects to the Branford supply pond. At some places it can be hard to follow. Sometimes you have to ride around the area to find a white dot. The trails are usually techinical singletrack with alittle road thrown in here and there. All in all its a great trail and approx 35 miles in lenght. Its not a loop so you'll have to either follow the trail back or road it back to your car
95 to exit 55, go east on Rt 1, take first left onto Windmill Hill Rd. Left on Damascus, Left onto RT 146, after train bridge, keep right on RT 146, Trail head at Youngs Pond Park. Look for the white circle trail. One direction goes west on brich road and ends at Waverly Park rd. The other direction goes east at the golf course and train bridge intersection and goes to westwood, branford trail and eventually to the Supply ponds
Summary: This trail is a miserable experience. Hard to follow, continually overgrown, huge sections unridable. Just a nastly, lame experience. Particularly considering on one side is west woods and the other branford supply ponds...both much more worth the time and effort.
