White Memorial

Lots of uphill to start - gets the blood pumpin'. Once you get past the first 2 hill climbs, there are many options to choose from. Whatever you do, don't take the green trail! Orange is sweet - real technical. It's easy to miss a turn and end up at a dead end road with houses on it. If you do, either turn around or head up that street, take a right, and when you hit rte. 63, go right. You'll eventually end up back at the lot. There is also a trail head at the parking lot itself. Relatively easy ride takes you over to the White Memoral Foundation which has a neat bird habitat. Better ride for beginners.

Trail Directions
Head south on rte. 63 from the center of Litchfield for about 4-5 miles? Parking lot is on right. Make sure to watch for it or you'll drive right by. It's actually below road level. Click in and take a left outta the lot and head diagonally across to the trail head. Check out the map in the fancy case and get a good read of all the various trails. All are well blazed, most say no MB's, but we all know that's for the "other guy", not us...

Summary:
Trail just seems to stay in great shape - some new lines around unrideable obstacles. Fun, fast downhills, sweet flowing singletrack. All the times I've been here only seen one other rider. The big downer is the gnarly climb to get back to the car.
