Cross Country Rider Summary: Well I spent 4 hours here one Saturday and I can't say I found anything that would make me want to go back. The trails just aren't any fun to ride. It's either easy fire roads or hiking trails that buck and twist their way through every mud bog and boulder field in the place. There are a lot of wet areas and the bridges, where there are bridges, are either rotting and about to collapse or new and designed to impede riding over (right angle bends, steps spaced bike length apart). The woods are dark, dank, and devoid of scenic views. I think this is one of those places that became a preserve because no one wanted to build there. Too wet, too rocky, too ugly. Recommended Route: I recommend go to Westwoods or Branford Supply Ponds instead, don't waste your time here. There are a few short sections of good trail but you have to ride a lot of crap to get there, and it's just not worth it.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Primarily logging roads with some rooty rocky single track and hike a bike sections. White loop is the easiest with some good climbs / decents. Green trail is a nice loop off of white after you go over the bridge and make the climb. Sections of Blue, Red and Orange are rocky and steep (cliff like) and require some hiking. Some nice waterfalls and streams flow through here. Its nice in the fall. Recommended Route: I usually enter from the Rte. 80 side, do white to green to white to yellow to red to white to purple to white and out. Sometimes I go back to do the green loop again. You have a lot of option is here... Other recommended trails in the same area: Supply Ponds, Westwoods, Tyler Mill, Gennesse, Cockaponsett, pick one or all...

Ridden Trail: Once a year

, from ct Summary: Combination of Double track and pretty nice semi rocky singletrack in this small network of well marked trails.. The feel of the woods is a cross between westwoods and cock-south. No gonzo techs but short moderately technical sections, some rock, some trails on the edge of cliffs, some hike a bike.. Trail system is marked just like westwoods, with X markings for connector trails. A white X off the red trail will bring you to the white trail.. A red X off a red trail will be some sort of shortcut, or longcut, that brings you back to the red trail.. Recommended Route: OK - I made a trail map..
