Summary:
That is right; It is technical, but there are some smooth decents ending up in the meadows. (Farm land with dirt roads. THere is about 10 or sao miles of dirt roads all flat.) But if you stay in the quarry it is quite fun. You just have to know where to look. I will followup with a recommended route

Other recommended trails in the same area:
creek 128,
we hrtfrd reservoire.

Reviewed by: Brian , from Rocky Hill

Summary:
Many short steep climbs and short steep chutes. It is a great training ground for skills sessions and the night riding is top notch. Some of it is quite technical and should only be attempted by advanced riders, but there always is a bail out line. People who say there are no good trails down here are probably walking them.

Recommended Route:
There really is no "loop". Many of the trails are short circuits. It is possible to connect them together and with a minimal amount of repetition amass almost 16 miles of single and double track.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Birch Mountain, Case Mountain, Cromwell

There is nothing there. One technical descent, and maybe 5 miles of crap trail. Not worth any time.
