Racer Summary: I’ve ridden a lot of places in New England and this place rates average to below average. There are a handful of good trails, but the several hike-a-bike sections take away any positives in my book. Now I’m used to hike-a-bikes in Adventure Racing, but when I go somewhere to spin, I don’t want to get off the bike. If I lived in the area, I probably wouldn’t be so negative, but I drove an hour to ride here and was really disappointed. The technical trails are average to below average however there are a handful of cool drops and rollers. I wouldn’t make this a destination park, however as I mentioned above if you are in the area for some other reason, it’s a decent place to ride.

, from Branford Summary: Technical trails that requires some hike-a-bike. Not a place for a leisurely ride. Very low overall speed on tight rocky and rooted trails. Good place for free riding, none of the trails flow smoothly and some parts are like trials. Some areas are a little hairy with clipless pedals. bad place to work on endurance and spin, But its a good place to work on skill and guts. wear bug spray and a helmet Recommended Route: Start of Rt 146 on the White to Orange or White to Violet and go north. Not all the trails are open in the spring. read the sign at the trailhead to see what is open Other recommended trails in the same area: Branford supply pond for fast quick ride

, from CLinton, CT Summary: many crappy stunts and good stunts going up in this area. ride them at your own risk, and make sure you scope them out before you ride them to make sure they have not been plundered. in addition to the stunts westwoods remains the #1 trail network around for technical riding. its the best. so go ride it and be safe. Recommended Route: park on dunk rock rd. vear right to lost lake. at intersection choose the trail second from the left. after that little climb look to the left for a downhill trail with bridges. ride down that and cross the trail below and keep on going down a series of three steep rock roll downs, then at the last one there is a bridge roll down. it is for expert riders only, and very very fun. Other recommended trails in the same area: pataconk (chester) tyler's mill (walingford)

, from Middletown, CT Summary: Please note that this trail network is closed until further notice due to trail hazards and trail renovation. Please keep out while this is going on. Too many MTB riders "poaching" during the rehab time can result in closure to MTBs when the trails re-open. Recommended Route: Same.
