Trail Directions
Off I-95 take exit 54. If your coming from New London take a right, if your coming from New Haven take a left. Go down to Route 1, Zane's Cycles should be across the stree (feel free to stop in for some complementary coffee). Take a left at the traffic light. Go down about a mile on rt. 1 and take a left just before Tommy O'sulivans (an olde Irish pub). Just follow the road untill you see the parking lot and be prepared to get lost in miles of trails.

Ridden Once

Summary:
Some wide open dirt roads in wooded area with no challenges for experience riders. Single track sections have almost no obsticals. Some wide open boring trails under powerlines. In July beware of blood sucking Green head beach flys. Bring lots of bug repelent. I you stop they will attack. More fun to go there and pick wild black berries.

Recommended Route:
Don't even waste your time unless you are a beginner and you want to give mountain biking a try.

Summary:
I was pleasantly surprised, and happy to find a good spot to ride after getting back from the pacific northwest (portland, or) for five years. Believe it or not, these trails rival some of the best trails i've ridden in or around the city of portland. (no comparison to the cascades or the coast range, though).
If you ride all the way to the back of the park, off to the left, their are some very technical trails back there, windy, and constantly splitting off in every direction, guess that's why it's dubbed the corkscrew.
that 911 thing has got to be the downhill on the way back to the pond; I spilled on the last section last year, and had to stumble down a ravine to get my bike back. careful!!

Recommended Route:
it's probably that 911/corkscrew thing everybody's talking about. I'm FROM here, but didn't know the bad boys had any names!

Summary:
This place has something for everyone. Its got nasty downhills for the top dogs called 911 & Corkscrew and other trails for less experianced riders. The mix is what I love... little single track, streams, hurt'n climbs, fast flats, real technical parts and horse crap too so watch out. You can ge lost so if your new go it with a friend.

Recommended Route:
I recommend them all.

GOOD SINGLETRACK AND FIREROAD. SOME TECH STUFF.LIKE THE 911 TRAIL. MAKE SURE YOU BRING ALOT OF WATER.THIS IS ONE OF MY BEST PLACES TO RIDE TO GET ALWAY FROM IT ALL AFTER HARD WEEK AT WORK

Recommended Route:
JUST EXPLORE. I WOULD DO THE TWO PONDS FIRST AND GO BACK AND SEE IF THERE IS ANY MOUNTAIN BIKER YOU CAN HOOK UP WITH BECAUSE YOU CAN GET LOST HER.
