Ridden Trail:
Every few months

Summary:
The trails are OK. The entire area is infested with misquitos ans other bugs to the point that I don't plan on ridding there until fall. The trail seemed wet, even though it had not rained in days. I think the trees block all the sun. There is some fun ridding to be had, once you know the trails, I went in circles the first few times. The Cross Country rider like me, needs to take it slow the first time as there are some huge drops close to the river. Listen for motorcycles and get the hell out of their way.

Recommended Route:
can't really say, you're on your own

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Wadsworth falls is a nice fast paced ride, that is close to home.

Summary:
Thius trail is pretty fun. There is some of everything. If you want uphill you can find it along with cliff rides, and downhill. Some of the stuff is sick. I wouldn't try it and I'll try almost anything my bike wil take(which isn't much so i push it). The bidges are broken and not rideable that is if you can find them. Just incase you get hurt or lost to tell the police or ambulance where you are say that you are in the blow hole. My friend's dad is fire chief in Cromwell and apparently this is the only way to identify the area. Back in the old days the steamboats would come by on the river and blow all the steam in the tail area. Happy riding!

Dont download a map likme i did!!!!! Maps dont work here. There are too many trails that interwine together. My advice ride themain trail from the gate up and ride onto any other trail you want. If you want a fun trail ride up the main trail all the way until a fork. Go left and keep riding. Eventually you will be able to see the golf course. From there pull the left u-turn(dont go right). Ride along and eventually you will get to the huge bridge. It goes from 2 feet from the ground to 7 feet. The begginning ramp is broken but my friends and I might fix it. All it realley needs are some new cross branches and nails to hold them in. After that ride on. Eventually you will begin to see many routes that look like real trials(this is after a short downhill part). Look for a tree that has two green dots on it. This is the right trail to follow. You end up in the parking lot on the opposite side of where you started.

hey,,, to the last review,, i put 110 field rd. as an address because from there you can see the woods, so thats like the closes address to the actual trails. You can find the trails if you park at the railroad tracks on field road and enter the woods at a small single track, its hard to find.

Summary:
Two of my friends and I thought we'd try to find a good trail in cromwell CT. We came up with this when we searched, so we went to look for it. "110 field Rd." is some guy's house, and there is no trail to be seen. Either the trail is on private property, in which case it shouldn't be listed here, or it's not at 110 field rd. If you want to ride it, good luck. We never found it.
