Weekend Warrior Summary: So I rode this trail 3 times last weekend and it's a blast. It is somewhat intimidating when you get to the top and see that they have helicopter landing zones near by for any type of emergency. It's true that if you can't drop the entry you should stay off the trail. The entry drop is probably one of the most subtle of all that are in the trail. If you've got the bike and the guts to drop in your in for a great ride. There are lots of drops and technical spots through out. All but one drop has a bypass so that the first time through you can scope things out and then just bomb it on the second run. If you take on the smaller drops (2-4') bring the all mountain. If your planning on the big drops (5'-really big) than bring some travel. Overall one of the most fun rides I've ever done. Recommended Route: Once on the trail your only option is down. Other recommended trails in the same area: Holy Cross, Lemon Squeezer, Pucker Up

Cross Country Rider Summary: It's great to see a "leagal" FR trail with nice thought out lines that flow well. Free Lunch is tons of fun, and a good for guys who want to try more aggressive riding but don't care to ride lifts or ride DH specific rigs. I've hit this trail on a Santa Cruz heckler, as well as a bullit, and both bikes work well here. A soild build on a AM bike will love this trail, and you'll be better able to link into other trails in this area for an all day ride. If you just want to shuttle, grab your FR rig. Thanks to the guys who got this trail built! Well done! Other recommended trails in the same area: Every thing in this general trail system is super fun! Grab a map and decide for your self what you want to ride. It's tough to go wrong.
