Cross Country Rider Summary: Great ride. Highly recommend it. The downhill at the end was great. You can find video of the downhill at my site www.kenric.net Recommended Route: Breckenridge to Frisco. (More downhill this way) Ride the paved bike trail back up to town.

Cross Country Rider Summary: Fun trail but overcrowded with hikers. Be respectful and stop when you come up on some hiklers going the other way. Recommended Route: Breck to Frisco. Other recommended trails in the same area: Colorado Trail, Dredge Boat trails.

Cross Country Rider Summary: This is absolutely a wonderful ride. I rode this "loop" in June of 04 and I have to tell you this is truly a fun wonderful cross country ride. It's of course much easier from Breck to Frisco if you feel you're not up to it :)
With a complement of single track wood bridges streams, rock descents, heavy/light wooded areas, this ride has everything. This is truly my favorite ride of anywhere I have been. This is of course arguable.
The well marked path and well maintained trail makes it a simple trail to navigate.
When I rode this trail we left from Breck and descended to Frisco...don't call me a wimp just yet, I then met the family and hauled two of the kids back to Breckenridge (100+ pounds) in a still wind and heavy rain. You can call me a bad father but not a wimp ;)
My rating are from Breck to Frisco which would be much differenct from Frisco to Breck.

Cross Country Rider Summary: This is a great trail. One of the best in the Summit County area. It is all downhill form Breckenridge and all uphill from frisco. There are a few technical parts, but it is a great ride in the forest and the views of the 10 Mile Mountain range are great. The season is short though because it is above 9000 feet and there is snow on it in May. Recommended Route: From Breckenridge go to Peak 8 of the Sik area and follow a dirt road that winds up behind the area. This leads to the trailhead. From Frisco, go behind the county commons to get to the trailhead or ask at Great Adventure bike shop in Breckenridge. Other recommended trails in the same area: Colorado Trail from Breckenridge to Keystone.
