Racer Summary: The reason Cross Country riders hate you and want you gone is because your attitude sucks. You act like the little pampered jerkoffs that you are instead of having some respect for other riders and following a general code of ethics.
As for a real review... This is one of my favorite trails. I've been riding this trail and the surrounding area for almost 20 years. This has always been a favorite. Its got a great ascent, cardio workout, and a lot of options for downhill. I personally like to pick a few of the DH's lines... They think their so F'n cool!! I was riding those lines before they were born! Other recommended trails in the same area: I don't know how you spell it, (Petikus) possibly.. Has to be one the nicest cardio burns in the Grand valley. Takes 30 min avg. I would recomend if you have more time to ride, continue up towards widow-maker and hang a left to Holy Cross. another favorite this ride is technical and challenging.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Fun ride. Kinda short, but fast and fun. Disregard the people who talk smack about legal action against downhillers...they all have small peni's and can't get laid. I talked to a ranger who was out there that day for trail maintenance and he told me there is no such rule forbidding downhillers in that area. Recommended Route: Go up to Eagle's Wing...a little bit of a climb at the beginning but worth it. Other recommended trails in the same area: All of 'em

Downhiller Summary: What is all this stuff about shutting this place down? I have been in contact with the BLM and they have gone as far as to reserve an area for riders like myself to build a jump park. There are many sick lines and good DH runs here. It is nothing like the ski resorts but the location of these trails is very handy. if you want to take a quick DH run and you only have 45 minutes you can do that here. The hike at the top is nothing compared to other shuttle runs I have done so don't be a puss. All you cross country riders need to accept other cyclists including DH riders. People have taken the time to move piles of rocks in the way of landing zones on bigger drops in a way to sabotage these trails. You want to see me in court? keep trying to get people hurt like that and you will! People in Grand Junction don't allow "fun" There are enough of us to keep trails like these around, however there are a lot of haters that don't want anybody to be able to get their tires off the ground (like the people who wrote the previous reviews) Recommended Route: Down, then get a shuttle back to the top and save your energy for the fun part...down Other recommended trails in the same area: Ribbon

Weekend Warrior Summary: Ok you cross country dummies please just kill yourselves immediately. I would recommend you have your buddies hang you on a meat hook while you beat off and another XC nerd shoves a firey plastic wanger in your buttt. Seriously, just eat your own fecal matter. Recommended Route: Off of the cliff on the top of Eagles Other recommended trails in the same area: FREERIDE ALL THE ILLEGAL LINES

Downhiller Summary: If you are looking for DH trails go to a ski resort. These trails are fun but if you have a real DH bike it will be very lame for you. It has alot of pedaling even if you shuttle, three climbs right off the top. Recomended Bike- 6" or less. You might as well bring your hard tail. You'll have way more fun. Recommended Route: Drive up little park road and ride. Other recommended trails in the same area: Kana Creek (go get lost)
