, from durango Summary: Mark and Gus are clueless...(1)the ride they describe is Molas to BOLAM PASS, not hotel draw. (2) why descend a fire road when there are lots of singletrack options? (3) the pass is only 12,800'. Recommended Route: For a lot more singletrack, stay on the co trail for another mile or two past HOTEL DRAW,take a left down coral draw, left onto hermosa creek trail, right on hermosa park road takes you to Purgatoy and more singletrack down the worlds course to HWY 550. Other recommended trails in the same area: All of them.

, from Denver Summary: If those guys did Little Molas to Hotel Draw in 6hrs, there monsters. It took me 9hrs and I thought I was doing OK. From Little Molas 7mi S of Silverton park at the CT trailhead. Follow obvious ST past Turkshead and Twin Sisters to Engineer Mt TR. Turn right toward Rolling Mt to Rolling Mt Pass (unofficial name)@12,500-ft. (that was the most scenic part of the ride). Descend down into Cascade Creek (big valley) on TD terrain with rocks and mud. Cascade Cr drainage was really mucky.Traverse the valley crossing Cascade Creek on a major bridge then begin a rocky climb up the opposite side of the valley on difficult ST (roots & mud). Pass Cascade cr. road (5hrs) and continue climbing back to timberline and over Slide Rock Ridge to the North and Bolman Pass Road. Head up to Celebration Lake on road and some ST, (6.5hrs). On S side of lake take TM ST up toward Hermosa Pk. Traverse North side of Pk on FS road to saddle. Turn right on ST following excellent riding and terrific scenery over Blackhawk Pass (unofficial name) with a quick descent to Hotel Draw, (9hrs). Expect Hike-A-Bike near the passes and some walking on the tough stuff, maybe 1/2 mile. 30-35miles & 6000-ft gain. Recommended Route: Little Molas Lake @ the CT trailhead south to Hotel Draw. Optional take-off at Cascade Creek or Bolman Pass Road.

, from Albq NM Summary: Awesome trail & views! Very challenging trail. This would be a death ride for most riders so use your good sense. Recommended Route: Start at little molas lake and start climbing. Make sure you have map & proper rain gear. You can bail out at saddle to mineral creek Rd if I remember correctly. Other recommended trails in the same area: Hermsosa creek trail, purgatory ski area, hotel draw south
