, from Boulder, CO Summary: The first portion of this trail includes some fun double and singletrack through stands of aspen. As you begin to crest the ridge and descend the southern face, the trail becomes a steep eroded series of switchbacks. Your seat should be somewhere up around your chin for this stretch. This is a highly technical section. I am not a huge fan of the trail overall, but it's worth checking out if you're bored with some of Vail's better singletrack offerings. Recommended Route: See above. Other recommended trails in the same area: Son of Middle Creek, Lineshack, Two Elk, Lost Lake, Whiskey Creek.
