Trail Descends 1600' vertical in 4.3 miles. Good trail for all levels of mountain bikers. Lots of twists & turns, roller coasters, jumps and bridges. Designed by mountain bikers for mountain bikers. Uphill riding only allowed when lift is not operating. Nice Climb!

Summary:
are you kiddin' me?!?!?! this trail is lame...like most trails at copper. we race on it once or twice a summer, and it is really pretty boring and simply traverses the mountainside for a while.

If you are in Summit County, this is one of the last trails I would recommend.

anything else is better

Summary:
I like to do the climb up and then bomb down. Yes, its not the most technical and doesn't really have any significant drops but its still alot of fun and very fast. For its level of difficulty (i.e. intermediate) its great. Don't say it sucs b/c you want gonzo-abusive b/c its not but for what it is its nice.

Recommended Route:
climb up or chair lift it....its FREE chairlift in the summer!!!!! Try that at vail..HA! They charge and arm and leg for their lift.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
try the colorado trail!!!! it runs right through COPPERS new village!!

Summary:
This trail is not so hot. It's rather easy and unchallenging. Copper really needs to get dedicated to mtn. biking. The area has potential. But this trail is just a sad excuse. Don't offer trail riding if the only trail you have is a tourist trap.

Recommended Route:
take the lift up and ride down. do laps.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Keystone's trail system is by far the best in the summit area. they have some pretty heavy stuff as well as easier trails. every type of trail for every type of rider.

Summary:
Okay - this trail is a really good ride up the mountain, since cat tracks and access roads are boring. Don't be deterred by the "if chairlift not running" rule or by the out of town goobers telling you "what the hell are you riding up for?" as they pass you on their rental bikes. This is a great ride up with a nice constant pitch thru the woods and across ski runs. It needs to be packed out a bit more, as it's such a new trail, but that's what the goobers are good for. Once you reach the summit, see if you can find the old singletrack just up the hill from E lift base that takes you back into Spaulding Bowl! Build more, Copper!!!

Recommended Route:
up up up!

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Keystone system, Montezuma jeep trails, Keystone ranch trails
