Ridden Trail: Once a week

, from Keystone Summary: Super fun "lunch loop". Do some exploring on the singletracks shooting off of this route in the big meadow south of the Keystone Ranch homestead. You won't get lost, and will REALLY enoy the downhills you'll earn. Keep in mind that in a normal summer, it rains around 3pm for an hour or so, and if you ride wet trail, you should have your nuts cut off. Recommended Route: You can ride this trail in either direction, with the climbs being short and steep. Other recommended trails in the same area: Keystone Gulch/West Ridge/Colorado Trail down to the Ranch or Tiger Road. Amazing singletrack either way down...the kind of trail that is packed, firm dirt and soft pine needles with very few rocks the whole way. Give props to the Summit Fat Tire Society for maintaining all this. If you are one of those gapers I always see on a rental bike that sound like you're about to have a heart attack, get out of my way! The LOW POINT for all of these trails is above 9000 feet. Don't skid, either...I'll knock you out if I catch you.
