This trail is similiar to the Tewksberry Trail as it just plain rocks. I just got back a few days ago. It's best to ride this part of Colorado in September as the aspen leaves are golden. Some of the leaves had already fallen in some of the higher elevations causing a "rose petal" effect laid out just for me on the trail since there was not another sole in sight for the whole ride. I wandered off the main trail to some of the other single track at the plateau of the last descent but only came to a dead end about 3 miles south in a canyon by a creek. This is really a fantastic trail. Recommended Route:
