Kind of a short ride from a mountain community off of sugarloaf road outside Boulder, off hwy 119. This trail is one of many that drop to the south from sugarloaf mtn road, which, as far as I can see is also referred to a Glacier lake road. There is a pretty sizeable maze of trails in the area but the Gordon Gulch trail has some really gnarly technical sections, which are completely rideable. This trail starts (or ends) at a dead end dirt road near a house and traces the bottom of the gulch with a super smooth singletrack with little dirt jumps then heads up a really tech ledge section and some banked switchbacks then over some sizeable rocks to a freeriders playground full of tech routes and smaller drops and an old mine camp site. From here there is a network of trails. The first time I explored up there I got real lost and ended up exiting via a dirt road to hwy 72 north of ned in a hale storm. So, be prepared if you go up there. There are probably a few out there who would like to break my legs for posting this area here, regardless, I''d be curious to see who has ridden this area and what you all think of it or if you have any suggested routes. I''m going to rate this network "extreme" due to the routefinding necessary and the fact that if you get hurt on one of the drops or tech sections, you probably won''t be found for at least a few days.
