Cross Country Rider Summary: Looks like nobody has reviewed this trail in four years & my understanding is that there has been some work done on it so things may have changed. This is an easy, EASY trail and it's also a really fun little ride that you can do on a lunchbreak if you're close enough. There's really no adrenaline to be had here but some nice scenery & a tour of at least three ecotones. A lot of people here don't seem to understand proper trail manners so please set a good example by keeping your wheels on the tread, stopping for other users & riding only when the trail is dry. Also note that this is an off-leash park so you will see roaming poochies. Recommended Route: Park in the main lot & ride counter-clockwise. For a little challenge, take the spur that heads south to the top of the mesa. Other recommended trails in the same area: Every ride is a good ride. Turn off your computer and get on your bike!

, from Superior Summary: Unless you are a beginner, this trail is total bore. It's the perfect example of Boulders idea of a mountain bike trail: rocky, wide, flat (except for the short entrance climb) and short. Recommended Route: not recommended Other recommended trails in the same area: Walker, White and Hall Ranch

, from boulder Summary: Well, I must say I agree with TJ totally, this trail is a joke. IMBA what are you thinking? If you want to worry about trail access issues try getting a quality ride in within riding distance from Boulder, they do not exist. The only trail worth riding to once in a while is Walker, and it's not even that great in my opinion. Anyways, back to this trail, it is about as flat as a road/trail can be without being downhill, it is full of small bumps/rocks that an 80 year old in a wheelchair could go over. If you can't ride this trail then you should not be on a bike, one positive thing about the trail is that it's got awesome scenery, so if you want to take the family out for a ride and see scenery then this is for you, if you are anything above an intermediate rider then this trail will probably be pretty boring. Recommended Route: out to eldorado and back Other recommended trails in the same area: Hall, Sourdough, White ranch

, from Colorado Springs Summary: Pathetic. Utterly pathetic. It amazes me that Boulder is still considered a bike town. No trails in the mountain park system is open to mtb riding! IMBA what are you doing? You can't even open trails in your backyard! Recommended Route: None. The hikers dictate things here. Other recommended trails in the same area: There are none

, from boulder Summary: I agree witht he last reviewer. This trail is diabolical. While most of the trail is pretty easy the climb up is as hard a slam as you will find anywhere in the US. Its about a 200 yard climb and only the most fit riders will see this through. I lost power going up the other day and fell into the ravine. But I am the beastmaster so i quickly got up and headed into the wind. If you are not a 2 minute miler on your bike than dont even bother trying to get up this incline. Boulder has clearly been put on the map and MB Magazine is doing a photo shoot out at Community Ditch next month as it was ranked the 19th best rtail in the West. I think thats selling it short. Many endos, many tecnical parts, and a pure helacious work out. Recommended Route: straight off the Marshall expressway and hit the chunnel gate. Other recommended trails in the same area: CU Boulder stairway jumps
