Weekend Warrior Summary: If you don't have the initative to find this place by yourself, you probably won't want to make the drive...take about an hour from Ft Collins.
Anyway, this trail is GREAT for beginners or intermediates. 3.5 miles to the top, then you can bear right and get some great mountainous views and play on some fun little fire roads for more of a workout. Although just doing the 3.5 miles is a great work...took me 45 minutes but like 99% of it is rideable at any level. It's also 1800 feet of elevation gain at altitude (comparatively speaking). I think one of the best trails in the area for getting a good burn. Recommended Route: Go up, get a map for the fire roads, go back down. WHEEEE! Other recommended trails in the same area: Ansel Watrous & Hewlett Gulch.
