The Jackfork Mountain Biking Trail is a wonderful intermediate to advanced mountain biking trail through a rarely seen part of the park. Several interesting bridges along with climbs into the rocky slopes of the Fulk Mountains are memorable parts of this trail.

Summary:
I ride this trail fairly often. It's very rocky and lacks flow in a major way. It's rocky enough that you can ride it even during a heavy rain without it being very muddy. It ends up being a good workout if you ride it more than one lap particularly since it's difficult to keep momentum due to the lack of flow. It is a good place to practice because most other trails you encounter will be faster (at least that has been my experience)

Recommended Route:
Start at the parking lot just below the visitor's center. Take the gravel path up the small hill where you begin to be on single track. After you cross the first, tiny bridge, you can continue straight (slightly left) and end up at the top of the hill in the loop or turn hard right down some old double track and end up at the bottom of the loop. Then just ride the loop and get back however you like.

Summary:
Fun, short trail near Little Rock. This trail provides a good strenuous workout. There is not a good flow to this trail but I think the designers made it more technical. Jack Fork has a few small rock gardens, some roots, and a few man-made wood bridge stream crossings.

Recommended Route:
Ride the entire route, then make up for the lack of flow by riding down to the boat launch, then back and forth down the park entrance road.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Burns park, Camp Robinson
