, from Branson Mo Summary: I am not sure if horses are allowed on these trails or not, but if they are then bikes should be allowed too. Horses cause just as much erosion if not more than bicycles.

, from Fayetteville, AR Summary: DON'T RIDE THERE. THERE ARE LOTS OF GREAT TRAILS IN ARKANSAS. THESE INCLUDE EVERYTHING FROM SINGLE TRACK TO OLD WAGON ROADS. THE BUFFALO NATIONAL RIVER IS A NATIONAL PARK AND IT IS ###NOT### OPEN TO BIKES. LOBBYING WILL DO NOTHING AS I CANNOT THINK OF A SINGLE NATIONAL PARK THAT ALLOWS BIKES IN THE BACKCOUNTRY. THIS IS BECAUSE BIKES ACTUALLY DO MORE DAMAGE TO THE LAND THAN HIKERS. I RIDE AND AM NOT SAYING THAT I WANT ALL TRAILS CLOSED TO BIKES, I AM SAYING THAT I RECOGNIZE THE FACT THAT BIKES DO ACCELERATE TRAIL EROSION AND DAMAGE THEREFORE WE DO NOT NEED TO OPEN MORE LAND TO THEM UNLESS IT IS NEWLY AQUIRED MULTIPLE USE LAND. STICK TO THE OZARK AND OUACHITA NATIONAL FOREST LANDS WHICH DO ALLOW BIKES UNLESS OTHERWISE POSTED. Recommended Route: DON'T RIDE THERE. Other recommended trails in the same area: TONS OF GREAT RIDING IN THE OZARKS AND OUACHITAS. JUST STAY OFF NPS AND DESIGNATED WILDERNESS LAND.
