One of the area's newest trails. I was able to get down there for the IMBA festival/convention this November and had a blast. This trail seems to have it all. Lots of up and downs mixed with flowy sections. Berms abound as well as some tech sections. I found parking at the Lake Ann trail head almost places you at the middle of this awesome trail system. I can't wait to go back!

Summary:
As noted above, I rode this trail during the IMBA convention. I had a blast. I was only able to ride the bottom half of the main back 40 loop along with the pinyon and summit school trails (approximately 11 miles). I hoped to do more but the sun was starting to set and I was exhausted by the end of that ride. I am definitely going back to finish it.

Recommended Route:
I rode counter clockwise from the Lake Ann trail head. I was told that it was the easiest way to go.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Bella Vista trail, Slaughter Pen
