Cross Country Rider Summary: This used to be a great after work ride. It has been recently scalped (bulldozed) by what I can only assume are housing developers. Two of the trails are wiped out.
I need to find a new place to ride after work in Fort Smith. Springhill Park is a little too easy and is too far away anyway, but what other choice do we have? Recommended Route: Up I-540 to Devil's Den, I guess. Other recommended trails in the same area: Devil's Den
Springhill Park.

Racer Summary: As everyone has said, this trail has a little bit of everything. ride counter clockwise and the trail goes from open and fast, to tight twisty and muddy, to steep and technical, to wooded and flowing.
A very good trail all around with lots of little bridges to watch out for.
Watch out for the jump about one mile in. that one almost put me in the hospital. Recommended Route: Counterclockwise. Other recommended trails in the same area: Sprin Hill
Devils Den

Racer Summary: Cool little trail. Ups, downs, tight, twisty, wooded, open, this trail has a littl bit of everything. I went out there for a race not knowing what to expect and I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised. Recommended Route: Clockwise flowed well. Other recommended trails in the same area: Springhill, Devil's Den

Weekend Warrior Summary: This trail consists of 4 parts all branching off of the main paved trail. The first trail you come to on the right is by far the most difficult. steep climbs and rocky terrain. continue on and a trail branches off to the left. This trail is not as difficult as the first but the climbs will test your skills. The paved road forks twice before the top. take the first right then left at the second fork. The third trail begins just to the right up the dirt road from the end of the second fork. This trail is easy going fairly flat terrain. I like to ride this one first as a warm up. The fourth section can be found either on the right side of the paved road roughly 100yrds beyond the top of the hill or just a short jog from the end of the 3rd trail on you r left. This Trail is fairly well balanced. Lots of uphills and downs, switchbacks and things to jump. I fun ride and by far the longest section of trail. Recommended Route: I prefer to ride the paved road to the 3rd trail. This one is a good warm-up to get into the ride. Then I continue on to the third trail. If my endurance and time holds out, I ride the 1st trail down from the top, otherwise I crank it into top gear and go screaming down the paved road back to the car. Other recommended trails in the same area: Springhill- fairly flat within probably 10 ft overall. fast lots of switchbacks and roots to go over. Avoid it from Aug to Oct.. Spiders!
Fianna Hills, go right at the service road.
Womble--Best trails in AR!! great overall mix of terrain.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Fun trails, I got here in the morning of July 30 and looked like it was going to be a hot day so I wanted to beat the heat. Large group of bikers and runners out here on a Sat morning. I rode it clockwise so I could finish on the shaded sections. Great local people each time I have been here and always a lot of fun. Recommended Route: Clockwise works well in the summer as you can finish the more exposed areas first and be in the shade as things warmed up. Other recommended trails in the same area: Springhill in Barling
Devils Den near Winslow
Lee Creek north of Van Buren
