Cedar Glade Park

The trail head area is nice. It is praved and has restrooms and pinic tables. The trail is rolling with several creek crossings, bridges, switchbacks, one big climb and some great downhills.

Summary:
I really love this trail. I haven't tried the Black Loop yet, but i have done the Blue/Green Loops several times. I enjoy riding this trail more and more everytime i make the journey to Hot Springs. Lots of curves, turns, climbs/descents of varying degrees, and a good deal of switchbacks as well. Will definitely give you a good workout. There are a few nice creeks and streams that you will cross along the way. This trail seems to flow really well. It has a little bit of everything.

Recommended Route:
Start at trailhead B, hop on the green loop...it will take you to the blue or black loops.

Summary:
AWESOME trail! This trail has it all and I left begging for more. We rode for 3.5 hours and it seemed as if half of it was downhill single track! Lots of technical climbing, with long climbs. You can get some great speed on the downhills with a few nice jumps.

Recommended Route:
Counter clock wise and be sure to ride the longer back loop.

WOMBLE baby!

Summary:
Awesome trail with great singletrack construction. A couple of nice climbs, some sweet twisty downhill, and even some very sweet jumps thrown in. This trail has been extended and is almost 10 miles now. I highly recommend this trail to anyone that loves mountain biking.

Recommended Route:
Counter-clockwise

Other recommended trails in the same area:
VISTA Trail & Womble Trail. The Womble is "Epic" literally and VISTA is amazing.

Summary:
Good, flowing single track. Moderate climbing with fast downhill sections and lots of rocks. Singletrack stays firm and ridable even after it has rained. Multiple trail loops to choose from. I measured the longest loop at 8.5 miles with my GPS. Trails for everyone from beginner to expert.

Recommended Route:
I start at the parking lot on the southwest side of the park. The tailhead is just past the playground. Stay to the right when you approach a split in the trail to complete the 8.5 mile loop.

Summary:
I took a trip out to AR last week to visit some old friends and to ride some trail. This was my second ride of the trip. We missed the actual entrance and ended up near the RC airfield at the north end of the park where we met a very nice man who was there doing work. He gave us a trail map. Once we got oriented we were fine but it did take a while because there was supposedly some sections of trail that were roped off which we never found. However, since this ride is totally enclosed within a park there is no getting lost. Overall the trail was smooth, fast, and rolling. There was only one minor technical descent and I only say it is technical becuase my better half endo'd going down it. The climbs were minimal and completely non technical. If I went back I would take a single speed with at least 2:1 gearing. Heck, I might even consider riding a fixed gear bike on this trail. We rode this on a beautiful Saturday morning but saw no other riders. This would make for a nice post-work ride.

Recommended Route:
Ride it one way and then ride it the other way.
