Cross Country Rider Summary: This trail offers everything from lake shore views to views from Hickory Nut Mountain and has the climbs and downhill rides to keep riders breathless.
Bikers get to enjoy the Ouachita National Forest and with the occasional remnants of old stills can imagine the colorful history of the region.
Volunteers with the guidance and help of the US Army Corp and the Forest service have constructed the first 16 or so miles of the trail which is planned to go around Lake Ouachita.
Riding the trail is possible year round so pick the season you want and try it out. Recommended Route: If you start on Hickory Nut Mountain, save some energy to get back to the top. Other recommended trails in the same area: Charlton, Cedar Glades, Blakely
