Cross Country Rider Summary: Unless you want to walk up incredibly steep hills that only motocross guys can get up on their bikes than dont go here. The ruts are so big that your pedals will hit the side of the trails and half the time your walking because of the ruts. If it were not for these ruts than this trail would be freakin sweet because the downhill parts are so steep that you get some serious speed, but alas the ruts make it impossible to go down any of the hills. Other recommended trails in the same area: Old Post Road
Mt. Nebo

, from Dallas, TX Summary: This is a good trail to get some cardio work in, the hills aren't overwhelming and the downhills are fun. Not a real big trail but fun non the less. I had to share the trail with a bunch of motocross guys, but they were pretty friendly and slowed down when they came by me. I am giving this trail a three, its okay but could be better, also having to share with motorcycles just isn't my cup of tea. Other recommended trails in the same area: Caudle overlook at Post road park, short and sweet.

, from Atkins, Ar Summary: This is a great trail, especially considering its only about 3 minutes from Russellville. It is full of up and down hills both, No real long hills but what hills it has are fairly step and will give you a work out. The only bad thing about it is that it tends to get really muddy and sloppy after a good rain, especially around the shale piles. I am giving it a rating of 4 for being so close to town and its ability to give you a great workout. Other recommended trails in the same area: There are a couple of trails in the area, there are the trails off shepard drive on the power lines, and right next to that at Old Post Park the Corps of Engineers has built a 3 mile trail that is accessable from the caudle overlook parking lot, its a fun trail, nothing really technical about it, just fast.

, from Russellville, Arkansas Summary: There are also many other trails in this area of Arkansas. There are several trails off of Shepard Drive in Russellville. There is Moccassin Gap up highway 7 approximately 30 minutes form Russellville. This is actually a Horse trail but is also a fun MTB ride. Recommended Route: Haven't ridden it yet but would like to add there is one decent bike shop in Russellville on hwy 7 north(aka North Arkansas Ave.) They carry Fisher, GT, Etc.
