Downhiller Summary: This is the best trail i have ridden yet. It has some huge downhill runs, and soem awesome climbs. I think this is no beginners trail. This trail is best for a full suspension or a downhill bike. But overall it is a wicked trail.

Cross Country Rider Summary: If you're a beginner, Lake Fayetteville is the place to start. Even if you're a pro, it's a good place to work on your endurance or just go to "big ring it" all the way around to work on speed. I won't knock the trail just because I've had alot of fun out there. For more of a challenge, ride down to the dam and ride it back up. It's not as easy as it looks. My only gripe with Lake Fayetteville is the foot traffic. Be sure to make your presence known out there when flying through the many blind corners. Recommended Route: Start at the parking lot and ride the trail CLOCKWISE. It's the most fun! Other recommended trails in the same area: Kessler's
Lake Wedington

Weekend Warrior Summary: as some recent reviews have stated, this does not deserve 5 stars. in my experience the use of this trail by joggers / people walking their dogs etc has really picked up the last few years, making traffic really difficult. plus the trail only has around one good mile of singletrack.
here are some pics of the trail including a map

Cross Country Rider Summary: I am so tired of seeing this trail rate a 5! Obviously the people who rate this have never riden another trail. The trail is OK for being so close to Fayetteville, but if you drive more than 20 minutes to ride it, you are waisting your time. How can a trail like this deserve the same rating as the trails at Tsali, Truckee or the trails at Moab? I am at a loss! Before you rate this tail, ride a few others. People make decissions about travel based on the input they see here. Overall the trail is slightly less than average. Spring Hill is better in Fort Smith. Leather Wood, the Womble, Hobbs etc... blow it away. In my opinion, those trails are not 5's. So how can this possibly deserve this rating? Recommended Route: Some other tail unless you are close.
