Very exciting. Trail has various challenges from rocks, bumps and grooves, to big ol' mud holes. It is used for motorcross some as well. There are some good single bike trails off the main trails. You can spend hours out here cause there are several branches of trails. Unfortunately, I was only there for a few minutes my first time. Got a little daring and tacoed a rim. Heading back though!!
Exit off I-540 at Jenny Lind and hang a left. Follow this road all the way up to the top of the mountain (will drive by a golf course and golf tee like water tower). Road will eventually dead end at a culde-sac. You can park here and go off the back side of this mountain and ride the trails.
Summary: Great trail for mtn biking, hiking, 4 wheeling or just having a good time..... But as of a few months ago NO TRESSPASSING signs have been put all over this place. pretty sad.... so parking at the trailheads is really a no go anymore........
WOW FT SMITH HAS ZERO decent riding anymore all the trails are to the NORTH/SOUTH of it.... BIKE SHOPS STEP UP AND HELP YOUR LOCAL RIDERS OUT>.....
Recommended Route: fun all day ride... tons of loops & everything... i used to work and keep this place in shape... i'm sure its in pretty bad shape now...
kind of sad been riding this place my entire life.......
Other recommended trails in the same area: go to LEATHERWOOD, Womble, Devils den is kind of fun, Syllamo, Wolfy pigeon.... those are all really good rides....

Summary: the trail is kind of a two-parter; you can go left and down the rocky clay road, lots of fun that way. big rocks steep inclines and mud galore. once you go right at the bottom of the steep hill, go right, then work your way rightish until you get on some narrow shaded woodland. there's a hellish hill in there somewhere, but i loved it all and plan to go back often. my favorite area was the shaded and wooded area in the opposite direction of the access road (check recommended route). there's also a built up jump too
also, poison ivy wasn't a big problem. there's lots of it, but not much on the trails
Recommended Route: unless you pine for steep crappy road and huge rocks, don't ride the clay road left. from the cul-de-sac go right, ride a block or so through the meadowish stuff, then on your left you'll see an obvious trail into the woods. lots of more-or-less level and comfortable riding through here, and if you go far enough you'll find a long, steep, shaded downhill ride.
Other recommended trails in the same area: lee creek reservoir

Summary: This is a great trail. Couldn't ride it too far, but it has creeks and mud holes and it was a blast. It's close to town so it can be ridden often.
Recommended Route: Park at the cul de sac, ride down the hill to the power line road, turn right and look for the singletrack on the left.
Other recommended trails in the same area: Rode Womble, and Springhill

Summary: Getting to the trail was pretty rough, had to ride down a service road that had been washed out with huge and abundant rocks to collide with. The trail was technically difficult with lots of large rocks to dodge and plenty of obstacles. Overall, a fun ride. The rocks will beat you up so be prepared, have tools ready and possibly a first aid kit. And take a buddy.
Recommended Route: We parked where the map said to, rode the service road to the left nearly to the bottom of the hill, then picked up the service road to the right, a hundred yards or so down, the single track picks up on the left.
Other recommended trails in the same area: Springhill at the lock and dam near Barling
