Head west on Moore Road off Dove Mountain, pass through the gate marking state land, and drive just 100 feet to the trail head. There is an obvious metal sign marking the trail. Great 9.2 mile loop--bikes are requested to ride counter-clockwise. And this is the best route with good downhill descents on the back side before heading through washes and back up to the trail head. No major elevation gain or technical stuff.

A great trail, even in the dead of summer, because it doesn't create too much exertion. Nice loop with little elevation gain, but a couple of nice dips and washes on the back side. Signs along the way are entertaining--esp. Lake Vista which is the golf course across the way. Nice single track with good scenery.

Recommended Route:
Go counterclockwise from the parking area and you will enjoy the downhill slope on the north end near the golf course. The washes can be a challenge if they are too sandy, but a 29-er helps.

Wild Burro, Nirvana, Moore Road
