first you will hit the kodiak, a 6 foot log drop into a beautiful tranny. then twist and carve like a jedi through beautiful ponderosa forest until you come to bc funhouse, a 80 foot ponderosa log roll with a buttery mandatory exit drop. after more jedi carving you come to hondinski's ramp which launches you into the air effortlessly and gracefully over a big old ponderosa pine. a quick uphill then turns into the down, steep, twisty, technical down. the kind most folks will need a full bounce to ride. my buddies and i only ride hardtails and we can clean the trail from top to bottom. you come upon sidewinder, a steep switchback that has claimed many of bikes and bikers on it's first year in existence. then the trail traverses for a while, beautiful tight ponderosa carving, tight switchbacks, a few mini bomber downhills and you come to the log-walk. another ponderosa log roll that is only about 50 feet with trees on either side of you. watch them wide riser bars. more bomber, smooth, twisty, stuff. i am talking the kind of trail that has you cream in your bike shorts. shortly after you come to the finisher, the finger. a 10 foot long rock that looks like a big middle finger. this thing shoots you into a huge wide open tranny where you will be trying to clean 2 ponderosa rolls without hitting your third chain ring. boom, you are done, make sure to walk your bike onto rocky ridge. and you will say, holy $h!t, that is the most kick @$$ trail in the state of az. and cosmic ray thinks little bear and the payson hoot and holler trail are good. this trail will give cosmic ray a heart attack.

i won't give you the exact directions to the trail that i personally handcrafted last year. all i can say is that it comes off dry lake hills and is about 3 miles of bomber downhill. the best downhill in the state as stated by all my biker friends.

Summary:
Sounds like "Dill" Which heads south from Pickle and dumps into Rocky Ridge.

Recommended Route:
Head East from Dry Lake and turn South onto Pickle just before lower Brookbank keep heading south and down, down down, into Rocky Ridge.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Pickle to Lower Brookbank.

Summary:
Sounds like these guys are talking about Jedi Trail although I cannot quite make out what the hell the original reviewer/builder is talking about. I think he's speaking in tongues or code or something. Likes to hear himself talk. Probably on medication. I do like the BC style ramp up and over the huge ponderosa log. I think I'll go have a heart attack now. Bye.

Recommended Route:
I sure as heck ain't gonna spill beans on this one although if you frequent Dry Lakes, you will stumble across it.

Summary:
expert level trail. disc brakes recommended. the previous review might be a bit exagerated, however it is still a highly sick trail. one of my new favorites. steep riding, but still smooth, as steep as the LBT, but without the loose rock and off camber corners. i would say its more like 1.5 miles from top to bottom, but feels like more. not too rocky, just smooth, turny, and tight. congratulations trailbuilder, you have built quite a fun trail, continue the good work, but keep it ecologically conscientious.

Recommended Route:
i can't disclose directions to the trailhead. only the builder can do this, however he gives you enough hints in the previous trail review. if you spend the time looking for it you'll eventually bump into it.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
all trails out of DLH are excellent.
