Racer Summary: Very fast and fun trail with river crossings (can be anywhere from ankle to hips high water)taking you out to the middle of nowhere. During the weekday you might come across 1 or two people. it's an out & back that you can take as far as you need to make from a simple fun quick 10mile ride to 30 miles and more. Completely single speed friendly on a 29er. Lots of trail work projects to keep it from going to hell but built good enough to handle high traffic without it,at either end you start theres a quick place to go and eat and have beer. Recommended Route: The best start is from rock springs (north end of the trail)and take it south but can be taken from New River Rd or Table Mesa (southern end)going north.

Cross Country Rider Summary: I did the Little Pan Loop counter clockwise starting from the Table Mesa trailhead. It's a cherry stem route where you start and end on the stem. Overall I thought it was decent. A little bit of route finding is necessary but not too much. There are quite a few trail markers. Narrow single track for the most part with a little bit of Jeep trail mixed in. A few too many gates to stop and open and close for my taste. No big climbing on this loop. Lots of cacti around to punish you if you mess up! I suppose, depending on the time of year, you need to be prepared to wade across a knee-deep Agua Fria river twice to complete this ride. Lots of nice Sonoran desert scenery around. Looked to me like the trailhead should be accessible with any car.
