Prom Night
3 reviews
 4.67 of 5

Fun AM/FR connector trail. Connects Upper Brookbank with Lower Brookbank but cuts out a climb. The trail ties into lower Brookbank with a HUGE log ride. Most of the trail is tight single track with small 1-3' drops and jumps. lots of tight banked turns and a few steep rock faces. To get there start at the top of Elden, go down sunset past the turn to Little Bear, climb to the Sunset/Brookbank junction, go down Upper Brookbank about 3/4 miles until you see a burnt 10' tall stump of a snag on the right side of the Brookbank trail that's where Prom Night starts. Prom Night ends at the big log ride on Brookbank (with optional bail-out route) From there head down lower brookbank, or climb into the dry lakes and enjoy one of the many other exceptional trails down the mountain.

Summary:
Great connector trail, there were a few spots that were total skidds into canyons but only for 10' or so, other than that it was great. The log ride is very nice, good transisition onto and off of the log. I had to ride it a few times to get the speed right to roll through the turn after the log, and because it got my blood flowing. definetaly something you need to commit to 100%. I liked the drops, and tight turns, most had decient burms. This trail is more fun each time I ride it.

Recommended Route:
I like connecting into the drylakes and some of the newer 'vegetable' trails in the area.

Summary:
I forgot to mention that the trail starts on the Left side of Brookbank across from the 10' tall burnt snag. Check it out.
