This trail connects Cockscomb trail with Girdner. It is an old Jeep road that offers great panoramic views of the red rock formations. Cockscomb, Rupp, and Girdner make for a nice loop. These trails aren''t the most interesting in Sedona but if you''ve ridden everything else here and still want something new, try this.

Trail Directions
Ride Cockscomb trail and look for the trail signs. When you get to the connection with Girdner trail take a left to connect with AZ Cypress or climb up to Dry Creek road. If you take Girdner trail to the right there is a lot of hike-a-bike across bolder infested dry washes. But then again some riders think this is fun! A choice to the right will take you to the Centenial trailhead where there are lots more trail options.

Summary:
I really enjoyed riding this trail. The climb was a great challenge from Girdner. The path is easy to follow and it flows pretty well. You will notice a few corner where other riders blew through them going down. You will too because the descent is too much fun and the corners will sneak up on you. Don't worry, there is runout areas, thankfully. Just keep of the skids. The area is great, more Sedona fun.

Recommended Route:
Out and back, either direction.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
All of the trails in Sedona.
