Summary:
Nice fast single track trail. It was in excellent condition when I rode it last week. Top of the trail is a bit rocky and exposed but after the first switch back it is nice and flowy.

Recommended Route:
Follow Cosmic Ray's route or if you can arrange a drop off skip the climb up Schultz Creek to Schultz Pass.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Sunset, Upper and Lower Brookbank, Schultz Creek, Little Gnarly

Summary:
Like the other reviewers, I'd say this is a intermediate/advanced trail. Is a fun decent and a moderate accent. Qwick turns, and varying terrain keeps it fresh. There are a few stunts off to the sides of the trail if you have a sharp eye. The trail itself offers enough challenges to keep most riders fully engaged. I love this trail on my 7" full squish rig, but its totally rideable on a hard tail-if not a bit bumpy. It offers a fast, narrow, windy, traversing, varying, beautiful, challenging, fun route down the north side of Mt. Elden One of my favorite trails in Flagstaff.

Recommended Route:
This trail is a longer decent than Brookbank, and a mutch better choice to go down in my opinion, if you dont mind riding up the little elden trail to get to schults creek. Link it up with the Schultz Creek Trail and you've got a great ride for the whole family. (I ride this with my dad and he's 62).

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Sunset, Little Gnarley, S.C.T., Lost Burrito trail, oney(Ginger?), lots of great trail in the area - explore them all.

Summary:
Awesome trail, and is a testament ot Flagstaff's volunteers. Great trail, and should not be missed by anyone who rides in this area. I did a jump over the Rocky Chrysler carcass....obviously this was too much for such a pansy

Recommended Route:
Going down...(but not the 'going down' that Rocky Chrylser does on schoolboys)

Other recommended trails in the same area:

Summary:
Totally awesome singletrack. Great climbs and the descent down Little Bear left me roarin'like a big bear! Not crowded cuz I did it on a weekday. If you love fast daring singletrack, then don't miss this one.
Lots of loop possibilities on the mountain. Cosmic Rays guidebook has several routes, all are good. Camping is allowed but only in designated sites. Flagstaff has gotten very congested and camping on public forest service land is not allowed in most areas. Total bummer.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Parts of the Arizona trail around Walnut Canyon
