Ridden Trail: Once a year

, from Tucson Summary: People who don't enjoy climbing need not apply! If you ride the normal counter clockwise direction you will feel like you spend most of the ride climbing. If you go the other way you will have to walk about the last 1.3 miles to the highest point but the rest makes up for it. Scenery is awesome. Take plenty of water because there are many places to get temporararily lost on short side trails that are not well marked. Note: at one point to complete the loop you MUST climb a fence and follow a road crossing private property. This ride is always an adventure and hardcore riders should try it at least once. Recommended Route: Have ridden trail both directions, perfer clockwise on map Other recommended trails in the same area: Kentucky Camp/Gardner Canyon
