, from Tempe Summary: Any cranks are good cranks, but why ride the road at all? Just turn around and ride the trail back - maybe try one of the arteries that sprout off of the main trail. Recommended Route: Skip The Road

Ridden Trail: Every few months

, from Mesa, AZ Summary: I am not real keen on this trail. Kinda boring with lots of flat uneventful riding. As with any trail there is some good spots and like he said, lots of whoop dee doos. Not a lot of traffic, which is nice but as most will agree, if you are going to south mountain, stick with national trail. Great ride. Recommended Route: as told above Other recommended trails in the same area: National and mormon trails.

, from Park City, UT Summary: I have ridden all over the US and this is one of my favorites. Recommended Route: I started at the trail head, went all the way to telegragh pass. Instead of turning around I hiked a bike over the pass and went down national trail on the other side of south mountain (awesome downhill). Other recommended trails in the same area: National
