Ridden Trail: Please Select

Reviewed by: Summary: This ride kicks butt. Munds wagon trail is pretty cool but just wait until you get on Cow Pie. After you get across the slickrock you'll soon be in technical riders heaven. This is one of the most demanding technical trails I've ever seen in Sedona. The whole section from the saddle down to HWY 89 is the total bomb. Big drops, lots of of slickrock, beautiful views, awesome steep trail. Plan to crash because this trail is world cup style. This trail is not for the weak of hearts and should be ridden by experts. Or I guess you could "hike the bike" if you had too. The trail is not well marked and very seldomly ridden, my guess is the difficulty. So bring your trail finding blood hound. Recommended Route: Start at the parking lot where Huckaby trail and Munds train start. Ride up Munds wagon trail until you get to the Cow Pie trail. Ride Cow Pie trail up and over the slick rock following back down twards Sedona but up against the spires. Eventually you go up and over a saddle inbetween two big spires. curve around the right side of the saddle and follow an awesome trail down the other side which ends just north of Grasshopper point on HWY 89. Ride Down HWY 89 to Midgley bridge and jump on Huckaby trail back over to the parking lot on Schnebly hill rd.

, from Flagstaff Summary: This is not really much of a ride, just a half-hour of playing on some mediocre slickrock. If you've been to Moab it's a bit of a letdown. Don't drive up the road, it's really worth the ride down, just watch for cars. Recommended Route: Same as above Other recommended trails in the same area: Sub Rock, Migley Bridge, Secret Trails
