Cross Country Rider Summary: As was stated before...an excellent long training ride with multiple options for 30+ mile rides. Bring lots of water and food. Recommended Route: Ride up Catalina Highway to Molina Basin, take AZ trail on east side of highway and climb to saddle, dropping down to AZ Trail by Bellota Ranch. Hook up to Bellota Ranch road and ride out to Reddington Rd. You can either ride up to Side Door of Chiva Falls and ride to cross roads and take it out to Thre Feathers parking lot. Ride down Reddington Rd. to wherevever you parked your car. Prepare for a 31+ mile excursion. Other recommended trails in the same area: Italian trap, Upper Chiva Loop, Prison Camp, Miligrosa

, from Tucson Summary: As many have commented, not an all day-er. Great ride to sneak in after work. Pretty decent uphill work to get the lungs burning. Would take begginers, but only if they're in pretty decent shape. If you want to practice your technical skills, cross Catalina Hwy and pick up the trail to the right about 100 yards in. From there you can hit the saddle in about 20 minutes w/ brief sections of hike-a-bike. This is also the beggining route to Bellota ranch and Milagrosa trail. Recommended Route: As stated, except I like to cross Catalina Hwy and tack on the short but steep climb on the east side of the pavement. Other recommended trails in the same area: Milagrosa, Chiva, Italian Trap

, from Tucson Summary: Not too much here. Decent plant life if you're into that, but not really any breath-taking views. This trail was built for hikers, which is easy to tell because there are these annoying thick plastic strips along the trail that stick in the air about 4 inches (I think its to prevent trail decay, not sure). Its got some tight swtichbacks that take decent balance to get through without putting your foot down. Not really rocky or slick. A couple descents that make you question your nerve, but nothing close to epic. Pretty short ride as others have said. If you're looking for an all-day ride, I'd suggest you pass on this one. This is a decent ride for beginners but has enough elements to keep intermediate/advanced riders entertained.

, from Tucson, AZ Summary: Bring LOTS of WATER, food, maybe a phone. Call Arizona Off-Road Adventures (520/822-9830) for a guide, or for a map and directions. This ride is EPIC! Paul Pineo Arizona Off-Road Adventures Recommended Route: After riding the Molino Basin Trail, you can cross Catalina Highway and continue on nearly ten more miles of SWEEEET Arizona Trail singletrack. Take the Milagrosa ridge trail (can be hard to find) rather than exiting by Belotta Ranch. Its much more fun, more singletrack and less climbing (Woo Hoo!) Other recommended trails in the same area: Uh, I dunno, about forty or so. Give Arizona Off-Road Adventures a call at (520) 822-9830
