Ridden Trail: Every few months

Downhiller Summary: This trail has alot of potential,If someone went out there with a shovel and invested some time we could have some real fun. There is a really tight switchback near the beginning that ruins your momentum. The dirt is so loose your almost have to get of your bike.Three cheers to anyone who can clear it.Besides that section there is really nothing challenging about this trail. That section is more annoying than challenging. Recommended Route: up little knarly and right through dry lake hills, pass the way to jedi and keep going.Stay to the right when the trail splits and then make a left up a small hill where you see a huge fallen tree. You enter another section of dry lake hills .When almost get to the end make a left on the fire road through the trees and there you are.Realize you have blown it by wasting all that time to peddle out there ,its time to get in with the locals and discover the killer downhill secret trails that come off Eldon. Other recommended trails in the same area: Jedi is OK but not really. The potential is there.Upper brookbank then on to Rocky Ridge....

Downhiller Summary: A worthy trail. Hard to get to based on the fact that you have to get up and over that big hill in the dry-lake hills to get to the trail. I rode my DH bike up elden road to the top, so by this time I was pooped, so I'm sure that has something to do with it, but I'd say a full on freeride bike is what you really want to ride a lot of these trails.
The top is rough, loose, rocky, and steep. The real challenge comes from the loose rocks and steep slope. The 2nd half is fun singletrack, no more drops or rocky chutes for the most part, just winding singletrack that is fun. Other recommended trails in the same area: If you go straight intsead of turning left to get to Lost Burrito and the 2nd dry-lake, you can hit another "interesting" trail that dumps out on Shultz Creek.

Ridden Trail: Once a year

, from Flagstaff Summary: Very technical upper, super steep with rocks and ledges. Walk what you are not comfy riding! Lower half is fast, twisty single track, very fun. Dan Diaz can ride this w/no suspension, so don't whine about needing a downhill bike. That said, a 6-7 inch all mountain bike makes it a lot easier, but it has tight dropping turns that big bikes are hard put to track. Take your time, scout it out the first time, and it will change your life. Recommended Route: Up Schulz Creek, up Little Gnarly, out the end of Dry Lakes, make a left at the big pine tree, then out the end of the meadow. Other recommended trails in the same area: Jedi, Soccer Mom, Upper Moto

Ridden Trail: Once a year

, from Flagstaff AZ Summary: This trail should be called Lost Trail, where you fill in the blank with whatever your stomach contents are. Or were. Lower half is fun and somewhat challenging to ride up, and a good but short ride down. The top half is impossible to ride up (and even a decent hike). I wouldn't even try to ride down the top half, but then again I ride a steel hardtail with a 3" travel fork. Recommended Route: Up as far as you can ride then back down to Rocky Ridge. Other recommended trails in the same area: Rocky Ridge, Lower and Upper Oldham
