Weekend Warrior Summary: This trail connects the Courthouse loop to the little horse trail. I rode it north along with 4 other riders, all of us having intermediate to advanced skills. This trail is awesome. Short 30 second climbs, blazing downhills, tight turns, technical sections ( only rocks!)etc. I would say it was one of my top rides this year, a "must do" when in Sedona. Once you get to little horse, hang a right turn and head up a mile or so . Its all climbing, but fairly straight forward, couple of hike a bikes along the way. You'll end up at chicken point. when you turn around, its a blazing fast technical down hill thats fast and furious, tight banked turns, jumps etc. This trail is not technically "finished" but its still very rideable although not marked. Stop by Bike and bean for details. Recommended Route: Bell rock trail parking lot ( south end) ride the Bell rock trail north around Bell rock, when your on the North side , go east on the Bell rock trail until hitting the Courthouse loop trail ( marked) bear left right there, there will be a clear "wilderness" yellow sign on your right, dont go there ( $300 and they take your bike). Continue on the Courthouse loop now heading east, you'll ride up a old stream bed, look for the the singletrack off to the left for the start of Llama, not marked! Bike and bean guys can help you with a detailed shop map ( and an expresso!) Other recommended trails in the same area: Bell rock trail is good warm up, good kid friendly trail. People dont like bikers on the trails, be prepared to get snapped at and an evil look here and there

Cross Country Rider Summary: This was a fun little connector trail - I actually enjoyed it more than Broken Arrow. If you're coming from the Broken Arrow direction the first mile is pretty tame - buff single track but then gets into a series of up and down wash crossings that are a good technical test. I ended up in a fairly confusing maze of trials at the end but exited to the Bell Creek bikeway along Highway 179. Fun, and more fun... Other recommended trails in the same area: Breoken Arrow, Templeton, HT, Chapel

Cross Country Rider Summary: This trail is all about the single track. I have only cleared the entire trial once without putting a foot down. When I first started to ride it I hated it because of the constant up and down. Now I ride it for the intense physical aspect of the trail. It is challenging because you climb the first half of the trail. The second half is downhill. The single-track is hard to beat. The trail is short so I always use it to connect from chicken point, mystic, or cathedral rock. It always adds a fun challenge to each ride. Recommended Route: I ride the trail from south to north because I think that direction has less uphill and I can average a faster speed. Other recommended trails in the same area: llama to mystic to broken arrow to chicken point back to llama or bell rock parkway.

Downhiller Summary: Relatively boring. Has some very short ups and downs, nothing really technical (like the chute up to chicken point). Recommended Route: Fun to do once I suppose, splits off to the left from the little horse. Other recommended trails in the same area: Secret Trails, Jim Thompson Trail, Cathedral, etc...

, from Cottonwood AZ Summary: I am going to offset the review from the dude with no clue below. this is a great trail connector in the Sedona trail system and is totally worth trying while you are out riding around. It may intimidate beginner riders but to anyone w/riding experience this is lots of fun. The best way to take the trail is to ride down Little Horse Trail where it intersects to the left and goes south. IF YOU GET TO THE LITTLE ROCKY TECH SECTION THAT VEERS TO THE LEFT ON LITTLE HORSE YOU HAVE GONE PAST THE TURNOFF! give it a try. Beats going back down Bell Rock Freeway...er pathway. Recommended Route: See the Above Directions Other recommended trails in the same area: Templeton, Sub Rock, Chicken point
