Weekend Warrior Summary: Amazing quick ride. One loop will take about 45 minutes to an 1.5 hours. Sweet singletrack and some challenging rock terrain in spots. A few creek crossings and I spot a deer about 75% of my trips. Watch for hikers and other riders and don't try to ride the wilderness trail. Recommended Route: -Starting at the trail head off of Ramsey Canyon Road head take Ramsey Canyon Road up to Brown Canyon Road (unimproved) and take a right.
-Down the road stay left at the sign that says "Stay Right." After a smooth, steep uphill climb the ride down the canyon is amazing.
-On all trail splits stay RIGHT and you will end up right back at your car. Got more time?? Ride it again.
-Riding it the opposite direction is a technical uphill ride and a smooth, fast downhill back to your car.

, from Ft. Huachuca Summary: No matter which way a take this loop, it only takes about 30 to 45 minutes. Usually I make a figure 8 by starting from post and going up Tinker, down Brown, up Ramsey, and back down Brown. Brown is some of the best singletrack around. The rest of the loops are double track. Recommended Route: Your crazy if you DON'T ride this clockwise. This is one of the best downhills the area has to offer. Going up it eliminates a great descent. Try going up "Tinker" (just north of Brown Canyon) on the military post. That climb is steep and fast. It gets you to the top of Brown Canyon faster. Other recommended trails in the same area: Wren Arena area...sight of the race course. It needs more riders to smooth out the damage from the horse back riders.

, from Sierra Vista Summary: My favorite trail. Plenty of jumps and twists. Lots of cookies to avoid. At the end going counter-clockwise, there is a big climb. If you can make it past the "cactus" you're a true mountain biker. I try and get past the cactus every week -- someday. Recommended Route: Go counterclockwise. Other recommended trails in the same area: perimeter

, from Sierra Vista, AZ Summary: This is an awesome ride (one of my favorites). Beautiful scenery and a great mix of easy and technical sections. I would not recommended this trail for a beginner or someone who doesn't like rocks. Also the trail stay consistent throughout the year (does not wash out) and is well maintained. Be cautious of and respectful of hikers and horse riders. Recommended Route: I prefer to start the trail from the catholic church on Yaqui (the road that runs parallel of Ramsey Canyon Rd just to the North). You add approx 2 miles of easy singletrack that is a nice warmup to the more technical trail in the canyon itself. Other recommended trails in the same area: Miller/Carr Canyon Perimeter trail
