, from Soldotna, AK, USA Summary: This is not a biking trail. If you don't believe me you will find out in the first 100 feet and that's the easy part. Path is straight up and rocks can be very slippery. It is a really good hike beautiful veiw when you get to the top. Recommended Route: only one way up and down Other recommended trails in the same area: Crescent Lake, Resurection Trail, Russian River

, from Kenai, AK Summary: Skyline is the gateway to the chugiak mountains while traveling towards anchorage from kenai. It offers an amazing view of the flats toward Sterling as soon as you break free of the trees, which isn't long. This is a strenuous hike that launches you vertically as long as you've got the quads for it. Recommended Route: Strait Up Other recommended trails in the same area: Slaughter gulch and Juneau Falls, hike them before they hack a road through the trails
