Chester Creek Trail
1 reviews
 1 of 5

The Chester Creek Trail ventures 4 miles east from Westchester Lagoon (milepost 0.0) to Goose Lake Park (milepost 4.0). The trail runs parallel to Chester Creek crossing it several times via bridges. There are several underpasses where the trail intersects with the road system. It is marked by mileposts every 1/2 mile and it is illuminated by street lamps at night. The trail is easily accessible at many points along its travel and it connects with several other trails. This is a shared trail used by walkers, runners, and roller bladers as well as cyclists. Chester Creek flows west so travel west to east is slightly upgrade. The trail is mostly flat with some rolling hills. Moose sightings are commonplace along the trail. There are a few outhouses available in the summer season; however, you must provide your own potable water. This is a good trail for beginners and family activities.

Summary:
you got to understand what this trail is. It is part of a great urban trail system to navigate the city by means other than automobile. You can ride from the east side of town to Westchester Lagoon in the west without ever crossing a road. Part of one of the greatest urban trail systems in america.
