Russian Boar Scramble Course

Average Rating:    (2 of 5)

No. of Reviews: 1

This trail is mostly jeep road on a private hunting reserve so riding opportunities will be scarce. There are few paved sections getting to the actual trail. It is part of Brookside's Greenway Festival. Not the best trail for bikes, but plenty tough as far as hills go. Plan to do some hike-a-bike and some rough downhill.

Summary:
What started out as a "race" ended up being a rough ride through mud and nasty washed out jeep road. It rained 2 days before so there were lots mud bogs. If they could work some singletrack into the area this would a great course (that's where the 2 overall rating comes in). The hills are somewhere between tough and brutal. Coming back you get some great opportunities for downhill you don't typically find around Bham.

Recommended Route:
There's only one as of now.

Oak Mountain, Trussville
