Cross Country Rider Summary: First off, WOW. I was not expecting this trail to be this tough or this fun! If you are in to technical rocky downhills and steep climbs then you'll love this trail. It needs a little better trail maintenance and I had to move a few branches off the trail but overall it is an incredibly fun trail for the area. If you've ridden pleasant hill in Tuskegee and want something more challenging then this is a great option. Cool views of sturkie(sp) creek and all kinds of neat features. Kevin has done a wonderful job with this and it shows, it's a tough ride at times but always fun! One of the tougher trails I've found in Alabama which is a plus in my opinion. Recommended Route: Turn left or right from the start gate it really doesn't matter, although Kevin (the guy who built the trail) recommends starting out going left. Other recommended trails in the same area: Pleasant hill -Tuskeegee, much easier but faster and easier to keep up speed.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Email for permission to ride. Trails close Nov.1- Jan.1 or 31 I think? I had a very hard time following the trail with all of the leaves on the ground. I hope I can go back when it clears up.

Cross Country Rider Summary: Bring your big boy pants for this trail. If it is speed you want then this is not your trail. If you want to be challenged and test you mountain biking skills, then you are at the right place. You have to think about lines all along this trail, especially on the south end. It was a great ride as I was down in Auburn visiting my daughter and decided to give it a shot. Kevin was great on communtication and directions. I hate I missed riding with him but did talk with him on the way out. It is a great trail. I rode it in the Summer of 08. Recommended Route: I rode it clockwise only.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Trail is great mix of single track and technical challenge. I would bring the FS but trail can be done with a HT. This trail really keeps you on your toes and forces you to use many different skills. Trail is getting packed down and will only get better with time. Check it out.
Recommended Route: Clockwise Other recommended trails in the same area: Same as noted in other reviews.

Weekend Warrior Summary: I rode GTT today for the first time I'm just a beginner and it proved to be above my skill level it was fun though Matt and kevin were a delite to ride with and I recommend if your in town to give it a try. The trail has some drops and jumps and few dips that proved to be a challenge for this beginner. Other recommended trails in the same area: Swayback Bridge Trails
Oak Mountain
